Lövestad release their next EP at OT301 in between a busy summer

Rising stars Lövestad have taken on summer by storm, performing all through the Netherlands, with sometimes up to 4 or 5 shows a week. As they keep building their live set, they’re keen on delivering another unique show every week. The never-ending energy and charisma of the two guys transcends into every festival crowd they meet, leaving them in ecstasy at the end of their set.

Now Lövestad goes into the night with their Hold On EP, taking you from sunset to sunrise. Their known recipe for energy and improvisation is combined with melancholy and funk and finished into three perfect jams. The record represents the drive to push through no matter what and hold on to that inner voice. An infamous closing anthem is Twaalf, which finally sees the digital world for fans to playback at home. The pulsing drums and evolving synth solos seem to have no end in this signature tune.

Deep House Amsterdam premiered the title track Hold On and wrote a short piece on the guys.

On the 21th of July Lövestad hit the OT301 for an unusual live show. For the occasion they prepared a completely different experience. Their music is performed as stand alone tracks, creating an opportunity to experience extended versions from start to tail. And because they love their fans more than anything, they shared the stories behind the music, providing secret insights, funny anecdotes and a chance to ask questions and interact with the music.
