We Are E signs the Spanish duo Los Suruba to their already high-standard agency roster for Benelux Exclusive! An act with a name that means an orgy, wild party or a sinful bacchanal in Portuguese! Sounds good, right?
Nowadays, translated to musical language, Suruba could mean a cool party club cheered by some sort of quality music, both fresh and fun; the one where you can’t stop dancing even to ask for another drink. The perfect soundtrack for that good-vibe party that keeps on until the sun reaches its top, or beyond.

After working separately for a couple of years as DJ’s, producers en promoters Delmar and Alvaro ran into each other during their study design and the two decided to join forces under the badge ‘Los Suruba’. Their fresh style and fluency behind the decks is already noticeable when the first record starts spinning. As a DJ duo, they know the dance floor and interact with it constantly. They play with the crowd and transfer their own energy to the party.

They manage four divisions under the Suruba label: from A&R to production and remixing, they handle everything themselves. More than 70 releases have seen the light with their 4 labels together: Suruba, the mothership, Suruba Playa with that Balearic warm sound for summer terraces, Suruba X –leaving Space for darker grooves- and Suruba D focused on deepest. Besides high quality music there is even an own clothing design collection within the Suruba brand. Delmar and Alvaro demonstrate that success today comes by the way of hard working and creating your own success.

Their productions got them known as one of the main pieces in the young generation of underground musicians in Spain. For instance their tracks in collaboration with good friend Edu Imbernon; “Pisco Sour” (Noir Music) reached the Beatport overall top 10 in 2010 and “Punset” (Eklektisch 05) was one of the top bangers during the summer of 2011. And their collaboration with Edu Imbernon has not come to an end yet, as it’s a line of success that keeps getting bigger, nonetheless with their release in March at the Berlin based label Get Physical!

These guys never stand still which shows in their busy release schedule. By now, Los Suruba have released on a list of serious labels such as Noir, Darkroom Dubs, Eklektisch, Time Has Changed, Cr2 and Sincopat, and new material is coming. A new track for Still vor Talent has been signed and other labels will be presented soon!
Being able to produce music, manage the Labels, and stay on top of the wave as the hottest dj tag team in Spanish underground tech-house circuit, this guys are showing off that “surubbing” is not easy as it looks, but it definitely is very, very funny.
