Patrice Bäumel’s Essential Mix and new EP on Crosstown Rebels

Patrice Bäumel has had an extremely exciting couple of weeks. A week ago he released a new EP, produced alongside Audiofly, for the record label Crosstown Rebels, called “Atacama” which draws on “unique inspirations from the desert” and also features a remix from the legendary label boss Damian Lazarus himself. You can listen to the original mix below.

Patrice then went on to create a mix for Pete Tong’s world famous Essential Mix, a dance-music promotion platform that has launched the careers of many electronic music producers and DJs, on BBC Radio1. Obviously our dance music veteran needs no introduction to the world but it is an opportunity for him to yet again showcase his producing and mixing talent to remind everyone of what he is capable of. Take a listen to one of the best Essential Mixes of the year below.
