Satori’s Canvas Night with Vocalist GOSTO

Satori brought his groovy live-show to events all summer, from Thuishaven Op Reis, Shoeless Open Air, Gaasper Pleasure and Mysteryland’s Owari No Nai stage. Satori is known for his performances where he combines live instrumentals and his very own vocals, in combination with electronic music.

In appreciation of Satori’s unique stage presence on September 13th invited him for a 3 hour set at Canvas, which will be warmed up by Francesco Robustelli. Satori is taking his music one step further by performing with vocalist GOSTO. GOSTO is a vocalist and band musician whose voice greatly compliments the funky, sensual style of Satori. GOSTO’s style can be described as sultry and melodic.

As Satori prepares for Canvas he says, I am really looking forward to do this 3 hours set! I want to show everyone the music that inspires me at this moment- from African, Latin American, music classics, to underground house. The first 15 minutes I’m going to kick-off with GOSTO. We are making an EP at this moment. He is a very talented jazz-singer who just released his first EP SOLD. GOSTO and I are gonna  jam a bit and play a track we’ve made. We plan to be slightly risky in our lack of rehersal—the risk feels more honest. In risk there is spontaneity and out of spontaneity the best musical ideas wear born.”
